Medal of Honor is an item and currency that is used to reconfigure Hero Power Ability stats. It can be obtained through Chapter Hunt and in the Shop. The more Medal of Honor used, the more it contributes to the Ability Reconfiguration Level, which will increase the availability of better Ability stats.
