Star Force Enhancement
You can boost the effectiveness of equipped equipment by enhancing equipment slots. The enhancement is for the slot, not the specific equipment, so it will boost all equipment in that slot even if you use different equipment presets, and even when swapping equipment. Star Force scrolls may be used to amplify the main and sub (if any) stats of your equipment. Different ranks provide different boosts and have different costs and success rates to achieve those ranks. When an equipment slot reaches Star Force Stage 3, you unlock the ability to have potential options for that slot. When a slot reaches stage 12, you unlock the ability for bonus potential options.
Higher stages have a chance of decrease the stage when attempting to increase it. For example, if you have a lost at stage 13 and are attempting to increase it to stage 14, there is a 32% of successfully rising to stage 14, a 56% chance of staying at stage 13, and a 12% chance of decreasing and going back to stage 12.
Even higher stages have a chance of destroying the equipment. Destroyed equipment can be restored to Star Force Stage 12 for red gems and mesos, or a higher stage for a higher amount? Until it is restored you either can't use equipment in that slot, or maybe you just can't use the star force bonus???
You can choose to "Decrease Mitigation" to lower the chance of decreasing the item to 0% chance, but it costs double (both scrolls and mesos). This does not increase the chance of success. Likewise, you can choose "Destruction Mitigation" to lower the chance of destruction??? [needs to be added by someone who has reached that level]
