Hunting and Offline Rewards
This page explains the Chapter Hunt, Quick Hunt and Offline Reward systems.
Chapter Hunt
This is basically your online idling, with a fanciful official name called "Chapter Hunt". Thus, certain effects that refer to Chapter Hunt just means it only affects online idling.
The spawn rate differs based on the chapter of the field. Monster population is capped exactly at the spawn rate. Any monsters not killed before the next wave spawns will be "wasted" (does not spawn in the next wave)
When entering the map (other than coming out of town maps), the spawn rate is reduced to a random value between 28 to 35 monsters every set interval for 40 seconds. This applies even when coming from other content that removes you from Chapter Hunt.
- Chapter 1 to 3 (except 1-1): Every 20 seconds
- Chapter 4 to 5: Every 25 seconds
- Chapter 6 to 10: Every 30 seconds
- Chapter 11 onwards: Every 35 seconds
After staying in the same map for 40 seconds, the spawn rate is increased to the following values. (For spawn intervals other than 20 seconds, the monster count difference is spawned at the 40th second after entering the map)
- 1-1: 12 monsters every 10 seconds
- Chapter 1 to 3 (except 1-1): 64 monsters every 20 seconds
- Chapter 4 to 5: 64 monsters every 25 seconds
- Chapter 6 to 10: 64 monsters every 30 seconds
- Chapter 11 onwards: 64 monsters every 35 seconds
You can obtain various drops and EXP based on area.
- Meso
- 7% chance (1 in 14.3) of dropping a fixed value
- 40 mesos at chapter 1
- (38 + chapter number) mesos for chapter 2 and beyond (chapter 28 = 66 mesos)
Meso drop % increases this value by the stat value. For online mode, it is rounded down per drop, for offline mode, it is rounded down only at the end (before applying premium membership).
- Weapon Enhancer
- 0.5% chance (1 in 200) of dropping a fixed value (chapter 2 onwards)
- (94 + 3 × chapter number) weapon enhancers at chapter x-1 to x-3 (28-1 to 28-3 = 178 weapon enhancers)
- (95 + 3 × chapter number) weapon enhancers at chapter x-4 to x-6 (28-4 to 28-6 = 179 weapon enhancers)
- (96 + 3 × chapter number) weapon enhancers at chapter x-7 to x-9 (28-7 to 28-9 = 180 weapon enhancers)
- Elite Monster Summoning Points
- 0.25% chance (1 in 400) of dropping a fixed value
- 10 points at chapter 1
- (8 + chapter number) points for chapter 2 and beyond (chapter 28 = 36 points)
- Medal of Honor
- 0.15% chance (1 in 666.7) of dropping a fixed value (3-7 onwards)
- 10 medals at 3-7 to 3-9
- (6 + chapter number) medals for chapter 4 and beyond (chapter 28 = 34 medals)
- Red Gems
- 1% chance (1 in 100) of dropping 1 red gem
- Weapon Summoning Ticket
- 0.15% chance (1 in 666.7) of dropping 1 ticket (chapter 2 onwards)
- Artifact Enhancer
- 0.6% chance (1 in 166.7) of dropping 20 artifact enhancers (chapter 11 onwards)
Staying Online
For your phone's safety, it is recommended to use a secondary device, possibly including the use of emulators on computers to stay online, since it is the best way to receive maximum hunting rewards.
So long as you are online and are not inside any contents, any of the following activities are equal to Chapter Hunt without intervention.
- Putting the game on sleep mode (the one with the local time at the top middle and also some effect of a character hitting a slime repeatedly)
- Going to any of the town maps
- With Premium Membership, entering Guild Conquest, Growth Dungeons, World Boss and Arena
Performing Party Quests do not put the character in Chapter Hunt during the Party Quest itself. However, while using auto matching or while waiting to enter the Party Quest, the character is performing Chapter Hunt.
Quick Hunt
You can obtain EXP and drops equal to the specified number of monsters in the last map. However, all EXP, Meso and Item Drop Rate boosts are not applied. It applies the drops based on probability, so variance is expected just like Chapter Hunt.
The first time it is used in the lifetime, it awards 1,000 monsters worth of rewards. Every subsequent use increases this number by 5 monsters, up to +2,000 monsters (3,000 monsters per use).
In addition, it can be further increased by 50/100/150 monsters through a Guild Member skill.
Offline Reward
When you close the game fully, you will go offline. Note that not closing the game fully might keep it running in a background state, where the character is not attacking and does not qualify for the offline rewards, unless "the session has expired".
The offline reward specifications are as follows:
- Offline rate is fixed at 51 kills per minute regardless of level at the latest map reached (even if your char was parked at a map earlier than the latest)
- Offline time is counted by the second, but rounded down to the nearest 1 minute, and it is counted from the time you tabbed out of the game. However, if you did not fully close the game and open back the game, it does not count as offline and the character is stuck in limbo, meaning it does not kill anything, thus forfeiting the duration fully, unless it is long enough for "session has expired" to appear (probably takes an hour for it to happen).
- If you forgot to close the game fully and reopened the game, quickly tab out and force close before the game could load fully and it will not be counted as online, thus you will get the full duration for offline reward even if you only force closed just before reopening the game.
- Minimum of 5 minutes of offline time to qualify for offline rewards. There is no deductible mechanic, so the full duration is awarded without deducting 5 minutes everytime you go offline for at least 5 minutes.
- Booster applies but only for the duration of the booster, and applies the kill rate used by offline reward (51 kills per minute)
- Drops are applied deterministically by calculating the number of monsters that would drop each type of drop using the drop rate ratio, and it is rounded down to the nearest 1 monster, then multiplied by the quantity dropped per monster based on the latest map reached. For mesos, the meso drop rate increasing effect is applied last, but before Premium Membership, so it is less affected by the rounding down effect compared to application per drop in Chapter Hunt.
- With Premium Membership, the final reward calculation is multiplied by 1.5 times.
