Experience

Experience is the main way players progress in MapleStory Idle RPG, and is denoted as the green bar at the bottom of the screen. When a character reaches 100%, they level up and start from 0%. The maximum level in the game is Level 140.

Offline

Playing online is better when you have over approximately 50 kills per minute (over 75 kills per minute for players without Membership). As the number of kills varies between jobs, skills and the current map, in most cases staying online grants more EXP than offline play.

Having the game in sleep mode is equivalent to online play. To go offline, fully close the app.
